Personalities

JUAN REYES: composer, teacher of computer music and organizer. Teacher at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogota. Director of the "Festival de Musica Contemporanea" and of the "Ciclo Acusmatico". Member of the ICMA. Director of the "Estudio de Musica por Computador" of the Universidad de los Andes. ANDRES POSADA-SALDARRIAGA: composer and teacher of music. Ex-director of the "Estudio de Musica Electroacustica" in Manizales. One piece of him (I do not remeber the name) is also included in the accompanying CD of issue 4 of Leonardo Music Journal

ESTUDIO DE MUSICA POR COMPUTADOR: belonging to the "Universidad de los Andes" in Bogota, is a studio with NeXT computers and MIDI commercial equipment. Its director is Juan Reyes.

ESTUDIO DE MUSICA ELECTROACUSTICA: belonging to the University of Manizales.

Events

FESTIVAL DE MUSICA CONTEMPORANEA: it includes the "CICLO ACUSMATICO". It is a monster festival, of which last edition was held on April and May of this year, in which attended John Chowning, Francis Dhomont and Stephane Roy. The director of the event is Juan Reyes.
