Create a case study for a music retail products company located in your state.
Provide endnotes for the sources of your information. Number your sources in square brackets and give the references at the end of your report. Use a variety of sources, including reviews from magazines. You can use company publications but try to be objective and tone down the sales pitches and put them in your own words. Include pictures of unique products with captions.
See the case study on Alesis as an example of the type of content and format you should produce. Notice how the indentation of paragraphs makes the section headings stand out. You can use the template that is supplied to set up the subheadings and indentation. Creating consistent content and layout will make the collection of case studies we'll be creating each week more useful as a future reference.
The format of the report should be:
Name of company
Your Name
Company's Website
Location
Where is their headquarters located? What other facilities do they have?
History
Brief company history. How and when did they get started? Are they part of a larger company?
Market
What market do they serve? What problems do they solve for their customers?
Unique Products
Unique products and examples of exclusive technologies. Include pictures of items you describe.
Job Listings
The URL for where you can find job listings for the company, and one or more examples of positions you might be interested in.
