I love my little enzymes
They're with me all day long
For without my little enzymes
I wouldn't be so strong.
E is for the energy that moves me through the day
N is for the knowledge of the little things at play
Z is for the zero, which is really not so much, and
Y is there no rhyme to use that isn't just a crutch?
M is for the magic of the metabolic rate
E is for the little man who rules his life through fate, and
S is for the spinach that I eat right off my plate
For without my little enzymes
I wouldn't have no pores
I could not say my prayers at night
Or do my daily chores.
I would not know what's right or wrong
Or how to live my life
For I would not have Lord Jesus
To keep me free from strife.
